The Research Center on Concrete Infrastructure (CRIB) works to develop, disseminate and transfer knowledge for the construction and repair of concrete infrastructure.
It aims to develop technologies to improve the lifespan of infrastructures as well as to determine the financial, social and environmental costs linked to the construction or maintenance of concrete infrastructures.

Mr. Fournier has been Director of CRIB since 2017 and has been a professor in the Department of Geology since 2007. His research interests include aggregates, material recycling, sustainable development in construction and the durability of concrete.
Mr. Massicotte is deputy director of CRIB. He is an engineer and full professor in the department of civil, geological and mining engineering. His expertise lies in bridges, fiber reinforced concrete, reinforced concrete, concrete structures and metal frames.
Mr. Gagné is also deputy director of CRIB. He is a professor of concrete materials and technology and leads research activities in the areas of concrete durability, self-healing concrete, biohealing of concrete and roller-compacted concrete.
