Isabelle Demers

Isabelle Demers is professor at RIME and holder of the Canada Reseach Chair on integration of environment in the mine life cycle, and links the field of mining production and environment. Her research work reaches both scientific and industrial audiences. Professor Demers is also involved in the training of students by the development of programs targeted at different level of professional training. In addition, she is a member of Towards Environmentally Responsible Resource Extraction network (TERRE-NET) funded by NSERC, a network of experts from universities across Canada.
